What is the name of a drug that cures something?

People seem to think that taking a drug helps cure them of something. I know of no drug that is able to cure. I am not talking about anti-biotics now. I would like to know of a drug that cures.

Banned by the FDA and the AMA. Drugs that cure put doctors out of business. Doctors run these agencies that approve sales of prescription drugs. Why is the fox running the chicken farm?

    There is none. The only thing drugs cure are the hiccups in the bank accounts of the crooked politicians and pharmacists!

    People buy drugs because of extravagant multi-billion-dollar ads on TV that entices them and lures them to believe the drugs cure!

    I’m old-school, herbs do a lot more good for the body and mind than drugs!

    There aren’t any. How would pharmaceutical companies make millions of dollars if they could "cure" you? They just make you take a drug for the rest of your life!

    Not that cures but treats. Antibiotics buy time for the body to fight off the infection itself. So No..there aren’t any drugs that cure.

    Drugs do not cure things. Drugs on relieve the symptoms. Herbs like Vervain, Valerian, Burdock, Dandelion, Clover, Pau D’arco get at
    the cause not the symptoms.. Sometimes cure is impossible and the only to do is control the ailment! Some cancers that can’t be cured can be controled with Skullcap herb and Comfrey herb and proper diet! Lupus is one such Cancer!

    i had depression for 10 years, took some meds for a bout a year and im great now. Meds do work to an extent, while most dont cure they do help. And yes some dont do anything

    Drugs are designed to change the body’s chemistry in one way or another, which may or may not effect a cure. Sometimes all they do is control symptoms, or moderate an electrical signal, such as arrythmias in the heart.

    Other drugs do indeed effect a cure, specifically in the case of antibiotics for certain bacterial infections. However, often drugs simply control symptoms, which acts as a cure for a problem.
