A home remedy to treat damaged hair of all kinds is to apply mayonnaise from root to tip, wrap the head in saran wrap, and apply heat to the covered hair to open up the hair follicles.     hi! how do you get rid of seborrheic dermatitis? i have used every shampoo out there. i have to use this neutrogena t-gel stuff. the main ingredient is TAR and it smells terrible! if i massaged mayo into my scalp, would that help too? I have tried olive oil and that works, but its kind of gross and greasy. Do you have any suggestions that may last longer than just one time of conditioning? I don’t feel like putting mayo or olive oil in my hair on a weekly basis or anything :P
