Do you have real evidence of healing by holistic medicine such as quantum touch, etc?

December 15th, 2009 | by admin |

Holistic medicine has been aclaimed as the 21st century miracles but I have not seen any real evidence such healing of cancer, heart diseases, kidney troubles, etc. If you have been healed by any of the holistic medical methods, please speak up.

I havent been healed by holistic therapy but reflexology and reiki have helped with my headaches so there must be something in it

What would you consider real evidence?
A million dead rabbits experimented on, and a multibillionaire multinational saying: yes, now we know for sure?

Holistic medicine is a complement to traditional medicine. It doesn’t mean that miracles are happening, but that in this imperfect world there are at least some forms of medication that don’t have so many side effects that in order to be cured for one ailment one has to take another 15 pills to counteract the side effects of the first treatment.

Does traditional medicine heal cancer? No, so I don’t see any real evidence of traditional medicine working in that field either. Science is at a huge impasse, as it fails to recognize that what is known is actually kid of limited, and available data is not pooled togehter but kept religiously secret.

Holistic medicine consider the human being as a whole, and ttreas the whole of it, not just the suffering part, as the real question is: why did the illness strike?

I think its often difficult to prove certain healing methods work, and everyone has different experiences.personally ive only had good experiences, and have found methods such as spiritual healing and reiki healing have worked amazingly well, with no negative effects.they tend to work on balancing the whole body and mind, rather than just targetting one area.why not try it for yourself.

There are decades of studies behind various energy healing methods. Some even cover people in comas, babies and animals so it’s hard to dismiss all of it as a placebo effect.

So there are numerous published studies which suggest a substantial, potential benefit. As with all things, it might not work for some.

Of course, even if a non-toxic, non-evasive modality results in benefit, why would anyone care if it was a placebo effect anyway?

Energy healing can provide possible benefit and follows the "First Do No Harm" principal that doctors are supposed to consider when working with any patient.

Energy healing will be difficult to "prove" because our only method of analysis today is based on Newtonian Physics and that obviously does not relate to energy. Maybe someday, we will have the technology to measure it from a "scientific" point of view or the "scientific method" will mature and learn how to deal with quantum issues better.

One time I was walking with my girlfriend whining about being unable to make enough money, etc. Just then, I stepped in a divit in the grass, spraining my ankle.

We were a couple miles from home, so I was instantly quite worried.

She reached up, putting her hand on my shoulder and said very kindly, "Kelley, you can stand on your own two feet."

I felt the energy shoot down to my ankle. My ankle was instantly healed.

Hi I am a Reiki Master.

The healings that I have witnessed have been amazing. Some have had physical ailments, some have had emotional ailments. I have had two clients that had chronic back pain for years be healed with one or more sessions. I have given reiki to someone with a severely sprained ankle and seen them get up and start walking immediately after.

I have given reiki to someone with pink eye and watched it disappear within a couple of days. I gave a reiki session to someone who sufferred from brain cancer in her past (was in remission) and who was going in for an MRI the next day. Her results came back as negative. A few months later she had another MRI (I hadn’t treated her since), the results came back as positive.

I know that the person who initiated me to Reiki has healed many, many people of various ailments. I think that once you have and understand another perception of illness and what causes illness, you can understand how energy healing works.

Just try it (I would say try at least 4 consecutive sessions) and make your own decision!

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck. . .
Look for legitimate controlled studies that show empirical evidence of alternative therapies working (beyond the placebo effect). "Holistic," "Alternative" etc. are generally euphemisms for "Unproven." There is a lot of money to be made by people who shamefully exploit the suffering of others.
