I was diagnosed with Gall Stones & Kidney Stones. Are there any holistic ways to help combat these?
May 13th, 2010 | by admin |I already know about a low fat diet, low dairy, etc, exercise and such. I’m waiting to see my doctor after a stint at the E.R. with these lovely stones. Anyone out there know of any natural or holistic remedies for these problems? A flush/cleanse, supplement, diet, herb, anything?
Thanks
Chanca Piedra is an amazon herb known as "stone breaker" and used successfully for years to break up and clear both gallstones and kidney stones.

i’ve had both, the gall stones are still there but no symptoms so doc said better left alone. drinking tons of water hasn’t helped with the kidney stones but lithotripsy isn’t that bad plus you get cool pain meds.

Perhaps reducing your sugar intake might help. See items 28 and 86 (of items 1-146) in http://www.rheumatic.org/sugar.htm .
Dissolving and flushing out the stones is a possibility. Olive oil is supposed to be a gall stone flush and cranberry juice is supposed to be a kidney stone flush.
Further information can be found in web searches for "gall stones" + dissolve and "kidney stones" + dissolve.
