n i just took a pill a couple hours ago, cus i have ADHD too, n i feel dizzy, i see dizzy i walk dizzy. n i dont feel like doing much.
and mostly thats what happens to kids who take Ritalin when they shouldn’t. and then in some cases it makes them less friend active, which leads them to take anti-depression drugs. then your kid just bascially a drug addict. now im not saying it happens to anyone, but it does happen to some people and i would never wish to any parent to see theyre kids on drugs

ADD I have ADD i have 24 years, it is hard to live with add but is not impossible, when you are a child it is hard to understand why everything you do is wrong and why you always have to be quiet when your body and brain say somehting different. But i swear i never took ritalin and now at 24 years old i am working very very very hard to get organized, i love to read everything about education of course i almost every book read it by parts. But i love the way i am and i always try to be better

I went to a Holistic Doctor for ADD and Bipolar to find out I was misdiagnosed by quack psychiatrists and I really had EDNOS (Eating Disorder Not Other Specified) and Anxiety Disorder. Now I am cured. Psychiatrists are like mechanics- too many will take you for a ride.

I think ADD is a myth- not a real mental illness but a condition of short attention span due to other mental illness or unsolved emotions. When I cried out all my childhood pain in therapy and on a tape recorder, I felt a lightbulb light up in my head and all of the sudden I could concentrate. Parents don’t parent their kids and they sit in front of the TV gulping down soda and pretzels- that would give anybody a short attention span.

I used to think …
I used to think ADHD was just a label given to very active kids until I worked as a teacher and saw that these kids have a real problem. I suspect they are vaccine-damaged or damaged by other environmental toxins. I am totallt against drugging with ritalin. These kids need real, natural therapy that addresses the root causes of their problems.

they should just stop trying to treat the whole thing see im ADHD and i had to take Ritalin and to be honest i hated it all it makes u want to do is stare at a wall and do nothing. i think it would better if they would just find out what there childs intrests and work with them. also ive heard that they say it go’s away when u get older umm no i dont think see what my pooint of veiw being that i took Ritalin for such a long time now i get hyper on and off. so NO TO ANY DRUGS NO TO Ritalin

I know a guy who …
I know a guy who was given ritalin when he was a toddler up until he was a teenager… he soon started stealing extra from his parents, so he could take many at a time, to get whatever high that gives you. Now he is a hard drug user, mainly cocaine, and has tried a rainbow of substances, because he says he can’t stand to be sober for long, just because he was raised being always on drugs… being sober drives him mad with boredom, and he becomes irrational or depressed really quickly.

I don’t have health problems and I only take medications if im sick at times or If i need shots from time to time,, and I clearly remember my young childhood not having any disorders,, and I was adventureious and Happy when i was a kid and Made the right choices to stay safe and Health,, and I was an innocent kid in school and home,, and I was special not to have ADHD nonsense,, and I came into this world just right,,

Its not the teachers business to tell parents to drug up normal healthy kids on these dangerous ADHD medications and Teachers are the ones that need to get medically checked out because most of them suffer from depression and When i was a kid some stupid teacher made up lies about me being a zombie and Not letting me try to grow up to learn,, and There was no way I couldnt have been ADHD and I was normal healthy kid and I wasnt even sick,,

I have been taking ADHD medicine since fourth grade. At the time I did not want to start. However, it turned from from special ed, into beyond AP. By the way Zoloft saved my life. However, now I feel as though I am at a stage where I no longer feel I need ADHD medication, (although I am still forced to take it against my will). I definitly still need my zoloft though. I bed my mom to let me try homeopathic remedies, an chiropratic techniques. She works in the medical professionandwontletme

The video is not telling you personally not to take your medication for your disorder. Its stating that in general we over medicate children and also gives you the side effects of the drugs, and alternatives if people want to use an alternative and effective way to work with the problem. Others have gained great information through this video. I am glad your medication works so well for you and that you are treating your ADHD with such wonderful success. It is good to hear.
