What are some good natural cures/reliefs for tonsillitis?

November 10th, 2009 | by admin |

I’ve come down with a sudden, really bad case of tonsillitis. The back of my throat is covered in large white pusy spots on both sides. I’m not big on hopping straight down to the doctors the moment I get a sniffle, I prefer to let illnesses ride out but aid them with more natural methods. What are some good natural cures or reliefs? It’s incredibly painful =(

Wow, I so feel your pain. I’ve suffered from Tonsilitis all my life…35+ yrs. Unfortunately you can ease your throat by the convextional ice pops etc,… . for trying to battle the infections, all you can really do is definately.. Gargle Gargle Gargle with warm salt water at least every 4 hours…. Although if its not treated you can run inot other complications, not to mention not be able to eat!! If you are experinceing a Fever, I’d suck it up and head right for the white coats… Antibiotics is your best salution!!! Good Luck and I sincerely hope you feel better.

Eat ice cream 24/7 lol. It takes the pain away, but doesn’t last long.

    1 – 1,000 mg vitamin C (not time release)
    1 – 25,000 IU Beta Carotene

Take 2 to 5 times a day for 3 to 5 days. You will feel the lift each dose you take.

I’ve used this for 30 years and avoided countless doctor visits.
