What are some Natural Cures to lower blood pressure?

December 7th, 2009 | by admin |

My mom is 46 years old and her doc. said that she has high blood pressure. He wants to put her on bp pills, but who wants to take pills the rest of their lives!? She’s revised her free lance diet and is watching what she eats. Anyone have pratical natural cures to lower blood pressure that has been proven to work or worked for you or someone you know?

I suffered with high blood pressure and diabetes for years.I don’t have a problem with either any more.

    Bursting with Goodness
Berries have a lot going for them: They’re jam-packed with polyphenols, like flavonols and anthocyanins. Plus, they’re loaded with vitamin C, folate, potassium, and fiber. With so much in such a tiny package, it’s hardly a surprise that it took just 4 ounces of a berry medley each day to boost the health of the study participants. Not only did their blood pressure go down, but their HDL ("good" cholesterol) went up, too.

The only way to permanently lower your blood pressure would be to eliminate the cause of it, and that would typically be from diet and exercise among other lifestyle changes (some people like to use meditation, Yoga, or many other things).
If that’s not enough for her, then she may be resolved to take some sort of pill to help for some time…. but there are some natural options that are much healthier than the prescriptions. The most popular ones are Fish Oil, Hawthorn Berries, L-Arginine, C12 Peptides (from milk protein casein), Bonito Peptides, and Garlic…. but she could get most of that from the food she eats (Fish, Garlic, etc), too. Good luck!

my sister-in-law is taking the pills and she says she feels soooo much better and didn’t know she wasn’t feeling well until she did. Just some food for thought for you.

But I’ve heard some light exercise helps –a 30 minute walk everyday or something to that effect.

Your mom is wright. Most pills just treat the symptoms and you will be on them the rest of your life. That is how the drug companies make big bucks.
Ok, get on a good Omega-3 or mercury fee Fish oil, 4 to 6 grms. a day, fresh garlic for cholesterol and inflammation control.
Eat more fresh salads with only white vinegar and olive oil for a dressing. Organic where you can find it.

For blood pressure do these exercises everyday. You will see the benefits within days, as you can check BP yourself.Continue the exercise once a day, after you are better. You may be able to reduce/stop your medication over longer term, although the doctor will say you have be on medication for life.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
    Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril
then – close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day) Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

5% gun powder with vaseline apply over the chest, first discovered by NY mine workers.
1lbs of celery juice a day, effect from 2-3 weeks.
9 leaves of Fish mint a day from 25 days.
    etc.

Unless no health insurance and cant afford $4-a-month program of Walmart or cant buy cheap pills from other countries; medicine is often better, not only for BP but also protect from heart attack and kidney disease, and better time consumption.

Also need strict diet with minimum sodium and without alcohol, caffein, spicy, sugar (for diabetics), fats/cholesterol, maintain optimal weight, few fast walks a day and keep body warm enough.

The best natural thing you can do for blood pressure is to use Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. It is normally sources from deep sea fish oils.

They don’t thin the blood like the medications do but they allow the platelettes to side more freely over each other and so blood flow is improved.

Over time they strip the plaque from the arteries and open up the circulation.

It is really important to understand this and there has been a huge amount of study on it. The University of Maryland Medical Center did a study of the clinical trials that have been conducted around the world on Omega 3’s and the results are just amazing.
